HVAC System Diagnostics
We measure airflow, check pressure, and trace the problem before we quote a fix.
HVAC diagnostics is how we figure out why your system isn't working right. We come out with our equipment, run tests on your compressor, refrigerant levels, electrical connections, and airflow. Then we tell you exactly what needs fixing and what it'll cost. No guessing. No upsell.
Magnolia summers are brutal, and a broken AC in July means you're suffering fast. We check your system before the season hits hard, or we come out the same day when something fails. We test both cooling and heating because Texas winters, while mild, still catch people off guard when the furnace won't fire up.
You get a written report showing what we found, photos of problem areas if there are any, and a clear price for repairs. We'll tell you if something can wait or if it needs to happen now. Then you decide what to do next.
What's included: Compressor and refrigerant pressure testing; Electrical connection and circuit board inspection; Airflow and ductwork evaluation; Written diagnostic report with photos; Repair estimate and recommendations.
HVAC System Diagnostics — FAQ
How long does a diagnostic take?
Usually 45 minutes to an hour. We get in, run our tests, and walk you through what we found before we leave. If we spot something simple we can fix on the spot, we'll ask first.
Do I have to fix everything you find?
No. We tell you what's wrong and what it costs. You decide what to fix now and what to wait on. We won't push you into repairs you don't need.
What if I just need maintenance, not a full diagnostic?
A diagnostic is different from routine maintenance. If you want us to clean coils and check filters, that's a maintenance visit. A diagnostic is when something's not working right and you need to know why.
